Cake Batter Milkshakes Recipes 


Funfetti Milkshakes

makes 3-4 servings


Needed: 1 box of Funfetti cake mix, additional ingredients the box directions call for (except eggs), 4-5 cups milk and 4-5 scoops of vanilla ice-cream. Serve with extra sprinkles if you like! I rub a little bit of corn syrup on the edges of my glasses then dipped them in sprinkles to get this pretty rim look.



Devils Food Cake Batter Milkshakes

Needed: 1 box of Devil’s Food (or chocolate) cake mix, additional ingredients the box directions call for (except eggs), 4-5 cups milk and 4-5 scoops of chocolate ice-cream. Serve with extra sprinkles if you like! Marshmallow Cupcake *Recipe*

I bought a box of  Greeting cards with Humming bird’s bakery  recipes on them from Lake Land the other day and i just had to try out the Marshmallow cup cake recipe  . Its Delicious ♥

Unfortunately  this box contains 20 cards of 4 different recipes but ill be collecting different cupcake recipes from different sources and write them in these cards 😀

  • 1 cup Plain/ All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1 1/2  teaspoon baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter , softened
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 medium pink marshmallows

Marshmallow Frosting :

  • 2 cups icing sugar
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter ,softened
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • a couple of drops of vanilla extract
  • 200g mini marshmallows

a 12 -hole cupcake trat , lined with large cup cake cases

(Makes 12 Cupcakes )

Preheat the oven 170 °C . Put the flour , sugar , baking powder , salt and butter in a large bowl and beat with a hand held electric whisk on slow speed until combined. Gradually pour in half the milk and bear until the milk is just incorporated . Whisk the egg , vanilla extract  and remaining milk together in a separate bowl for a few seconds , then pour into the flour mixture and continue beating until  smooth, but do not over mix. Spoon the mixture into the cupcake cases until two-thirds full and bake in the preheated over for 20-25 minutes , or until light golden and the sponge bounces back when touched . A skewer inserted in the center should come out clean . Leave the cupcake to cool slightly in the tray before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely . Meanwhile , melt the medium marshmallows in a heat proof bowl over a pan of simmering water. When the cupcakes are cold , hollow out a small section in the centre of each one and fill with a dollop of melted marshmallow .

To make the marshmallow frosting , beat the sugar and butter together in a bowl with a handheld electric whisk on a medium speed until the mixture comes together and is well mixed. Turn the whisk down to slow speed. Combine the milk and vanilla extract in a separate bowl , then add to the butter mixture a couple of spoons at a time . Once incorporated , turn the whisk up to high speed and beat until light and fluffy , at least 5 minutes. Stir in the mini marshmallows. Spoon the frosting on top of the cupcakes.

How I Wear my Turban/ Head Scarf

Ive been trying several styles with turbans and I always keep on ending up with pin up! I love love love pin up EVERYTHING but I wanted to try out more styles and see what works for me but I finally came to a conclusion that nothing else works for me BUT the pin up head scarf which I love and adore ♥

Since I cover my hair in front of guys ,I chose to wear a turban because wearing a turban gives me way more flexibility in choosing what to wear and it makes my life easier while sewing or pattern cutting at college.

DIY :Toe Cap Heels by (A Pair & A Spare)

Ive been obsessed with Toe Cap shoes lately and came across a DIY by A Pair & A Spare ,I’ll definitely try it!:D it looks adorable ♥



You need:
A pair of rounded or pointed pumps (these are Tony Bianco ‘Karr’, which are a great everyday heel)
Masking tape
A paintbrush
White and neon yellow acrylic paints
How to: 
1. Tape off a cap toe at the front of the heels with masking tape.
2. Make sure to press hard on the edges of masking tape.
3. First do a coat of white paint. Let dry for a few hours.
4. Then do a couple of coats of yellow paint.

To remove the brush strokes which were quite pronounced on my suede heels, wait until the paint is semi dry, and then wet your fingers with water and smooth any lines. I found this made a huge different to the look of the cap toe.

5. To reduce the chances of the paint cracking when you take off the masking tape (this can happen when doing multiple layers of paint) and giving you a shaky line (nothing worse), rather than waiting until the paint is completely dry, I removed the tape when the paint was still a little moist and then put aside to dry overnight.

Desert: Cappuccino Shots ♥

I made these Cappuccino shots a few days ago for a gathering and everyone loved it! so i decided to share them with you guys 😀 it does not take long at all , the only thing that will probably take a little time is just putting it all together which is very very simple


  • 3 Cans of Nestle Cream
  • 3 heaping Tablespoons of Nido Powdered Milk
  • 3 Heaping Tablespoons of Icing sugar
  • 1 1/2 Table Spoons of instant Coffee powder
  •  1 cup of crushed Ulker Biscuits
  • 1/2 cup of cold Nescafe *for soaking biscuits *
  • One Sachet Dream Whip *Powder*
  • Chocolate powder

Directions :

  1. Make the Whip Cream as directed on the box then place it in the refrigerator while you finish up everything else .
  2. Soak the biscuits in the cold cup of Nescafe then crush them into the food processor and mix! Put the Biscuits on the side *it’ll be a little soggy obviously which will help it stay at the bottom and not float to the top*.
  3. For the Cappuccino cream , put the cream ,powdered milk , icing sugar and instant coffee into a blender and mix until smooth.
  4. start layering them up (First Biscuits then the cappuccino cream and top it off with whip cream and sprinkle it with chocolate powder) and there you have it ! your own yummy cappuccino shots:D
